Poliester pipes from the production program of factory PLASTEX are manufactured by the licence from Norwegian company VEROC, combining glass-fiber, thermostatic resins and appropriate fillers. Pipes with wide range of physical and chemical properties obtained with this mixture are resistant to temperatures between -40 up to +100 °C with the hydraulic characteristics which remain unchanged for an extended period of time.

No cathode protection, no lining, coating and painting of pipes is necessary, due to used corrosion resistant non-metallic materials. Thereby, low pipe maintenance costs and long efficient service life are established. During the production process, the entrance of materials is monitored by computer system, thereby ensuring high and uniform quality of the product.

Poliester pipes are manufactured by winding in diameters from ø20 mm to ø3000 mm, lengths of 6 m and 12 m (or by customer's demand) and they possess extremely smooth walls. Prescribed pipe pressure classes are 1, 6, 10, 16, 20 and 32 bars. We produce them in stiffness classes 1.250, 2.500, 5.000 and 10.000 Pa.

Installation of polyester pipes is technically simple, with no need for special installation equipment, it is cheap and time effective. Due to extended length, lesser number of pipes is used, in other words - fewer joint sections. Transportation costs are also minimal, since the pipes can be fitted one into another using space more effectively, and total weight of pipes is small (1/4 of iron pipe’s weight or 1/10 of concrete pipe’s weight).

Couplings manufactured of reinforced polyester attachable from both sides with rubber gaskets are used for pipe joining. No special tools or coupling adhesives are needed for joining. Joints are flexible providing elasticity for the entire pipe line.

 

We also produce additional elements for piping systems: elbows, t-pieces, Wyes, reducers and manholes.

Pipes are produced according to demands of the standards: ASTM 3262, ASTM D 3715, ASTM 3754, AWA C950, Ö NORM B 5161 and EN 1115.
